People are confined by their emotions.
We allow our emotions to be affected by the people we touch around us. We allow our pasts to be the unconscious shapers of our futures. We allow our pain to be the dictator of our decision making. We allow ourselves to be suffocated without realising it.
Entangled Emotions, portrays how we cradle our entangled emotions that slowly suffocate us.
The young woman in the portrait pushes against the confining plastic while being cradled by a larger set of her own hands. She's drawn in a position of patient struggle with the plastic covering that depicts her will to break free. Her larger set of hands convey a supporting pose, hinting that it is her own choice to break free from her entangled emotions.
I aspire to inspire the viewer to come face to face with their entangled emotions that suffocate them, and to finally break free from it.
